DAY 6: many a mile but the sun had it’s hat on!

First off a quick sorry for the delay on these last few days blog entrries and and photos, we have had ZERO 3G reception and have therefore had to try and store all our thoughts that we wish to write down in our heads for the last 4 days! OK so day 6 was our long day as far as we were concerened from our map reading skills….we covered a massive 91 miles this day traveling from Oswestry to 10 miles north of Preston. You can see in the below photos our hotel (a steal at £20 p/p/night - less than we have been paying in the B&B’s). You can also see the sunburn Kyle managed to pick up on his legs!! Anoher day of toying with hte English/Welsh border as we made our way north. On reaching Preston we met up with the first familiar face of the trip, Allan, who was passing near by on a business trip and was kind enough to battle with the rush hour traffic to come meet us, big thanks to him. The day consisted primarily of big A roads that are good for covering ground fast but not so much fun or interesting for us! Also the odd spot of 18-wheeler dodging was required as these A roads tend to provide! We continued on to our hotel that was outside Preston, grabbed dinner and off to bed as usual! Over and out,
